Adseal Tarmac Restorer
Also known as tarmac sealer, tarmac paint and asphalt sealer, is available in BLACK or RED This hard wearing resin based product is designed for use on driveways, car parks, paths, cycle lanes, footways, pedestrian walkways, and all light to medium trafficked areas.
Unique Dual Action tarmac paint and tarmac sealer
At last a restorer that will not only restore the original colour (tarmac paint) but also protect and reinforce the surface against future damage (tarmac sealer).
It is the harmful effects of UV light that degrade the bitumen/asphalt content which binds the aggregate [stones] together. The first sign of degradation is the fading of the colour as the binding properties are reduced, followed by the aggregate becoming loose. Adseal Tarmac restores the colour and reinforces the surface by helping bind the aggregate in place (if caught soon enough).
In addition Adseal tarmac paint has a built in UV shield to minimise future deterioration and, together, provides a protective surface to lengthen lifespan of the driveway, path, pavement or car park.
This is not a bitumen paint as bitumen paints are prone to UV degradation
Adseal Tarmac has also been successfully used on plain concrete as a combined concealing and decorative finish

Durability
Lightly trafficked areas; with correct maintenance and depending upon surface type, potentially 10 years plus. Externally colour will remain for 1 – 2 years although protective effect will remain for longer, potentially 4 – 6 years, depending upon surface type.
A major design feature of this product is that it is easily re-coatable and does not need stripping before future treatment as maintenance coats cross link into original forming a monolithic layer. Down time is minimised with rapid cure additives. Fading of the colour and reduction in protective effect take place more rapidly in heavily trafficked areas and these areas can be easily ‘touched up' without the need to strip the original coat. Lower trafficked areas will only need retreating very occasionally, if ever.
Maintenance
Sweep regularly to remove abrasive dirt and grit from surface and mop daily using a mild detergent. Spills and marks should be wiped up as soon as possible and not allowed to dry on.
Should signs of wear appear a maintenance coat can be applied. Clean and thoroughly dry surface to be treated. Apply single ‘tight' coat in accordance with standard application instructions. The new coat will cross link into earlier coats so there is no need to strip unless resin build up or blemishes are an issue.
